THE INKEY LIST | FULVIC ACID BRIGHTENING CLEANSER

BRIGHTENING CLEANSER.jpg

I’m a fan of so many products from The Inkey List! Some of my faves include the Turmeric Brightening Moisturizer, Tranexamic Acid Hyperpigmentation Treatment and the Oat Cleansing Balm. Psst….that was a real treat all winter long!

So I was excited to try The Inkey List’s new Fulvic Acid Brightening Cleanser.

I know exactly what you’re thinking. “Fulvic what?!”

Yeah, I googled it. I found a great article on the Healthline website titled, What Is Fulvic Acid, and Does It Have Benefits? Simply, “Fulvic acid is considered a humic substance, meaning it’s a naturally occurring compound found in soils, compost, marine sediments, and sewage. Fulvic acid is a product of decomposition and formed through geochemical and biological reactions, such as the breakdown of food in a compost heap.”

It sounds super weird and nerdy, but that’s what I love about Inkey. In skincare, fulvic acid acts like a gentle exfoliant.

The new Fulvic Acid Cleanser is infused with Nordic Peat, rich in fulvic acid. There’s also power brightening Kakadu Plum Extract, a natural source of Vitamin C, and Licorice Root Extract — a natural brightener popular in K-Beauty.

I love the cleanser’s super lightweight gel texture. It’s only lightly foaming, which often indicates it’s non-stripping, too. In fact, I’ve been using this in the shower on my whole head.

Inkey isn’t the only nerd!
